Small businesses are at the heart of Tucson’s economy, and we are committed to helping them take root, grow, and thrive.

In 2023, we launched a 501(c)3 non-profit lender Groundswell Capital to expand fair and affordable access to capital for entrepreneurs.

In 2025, in partnership with the City of Tucson, we invested in the Tucson Small Business Center—creating a dedicated space to support small business growth across our region.

Affordable capital for every stage.

Through our lending arm, Groundswell Capital, we offer a range of financing options—from $2,000 micro-loans to $1,000,000 for capital improvements.

Our flagship loan fund, AVANZA, provides character-based lending designed to remove barriers and support small business growth.

We also offer wraparound support, including loan application assistance and post-loan coaching, to help you succeed every step of the way.
