Tucson Small Business Center Finalist for Common Ground Award.

The Tucson Small Business Center (TSBC) has been named a finalist for the prestigious Common Ground Award, recognizing its innovative approach to supporting local entrepreneurs and strengthening Tucson’s small business ecosystem.

Launched through a partnership between the City of Tucson and the Tucson Industrial Development Authority (Tucson IDA), the Center serves as a one-stop hub where business owners can access capital, coaching, financial education, and community connections—all under one roof.

Since opening, TSBC has welcomed thousands of entrepreneurs, hosted hundreds of events, and helped build a stronger pipeline of small businesses ready to start, grow, and thrive in Southern Arizona.

Being named a finalist highlights the Center’s growing impact as a model for place-based economic development—bringing together public resources, private capital, and community-driven support to build opportunity from the ground up.
