Helping 7,000+ Families Achieve Homeownership
Pathways to Homeownership
The Tucson IDA partners with our colleagues at the Pima IDA to deliver a suite of stellar options for homebuyers in our county, including down payment assistance, interest-rate reductions, mortgage credit certificates, and grants (depending on availability and market conditions).
Our shared program platform is called the Pima Tucson Housing Innovation Hub. On this website you can get up-to-date information on what products are available currently, connect with approved lenders, and learn more about the home buying process.
I may not have been able to afford much in this area without Tucson IDA’s programs. It’s helpful to have that little help … it’s a bridge to go from renting forever to buying a house.
The whole idea of home ownership gives you a sense of roots. Owning a home creates expectations for the future, and is important to the identity of a family. It provides a place where everyone can congregate.
